What is ClinicArchitect?

ClinicArchitect is multi-tenant clinic management software that keeps patient records, appointments, clinical visit notes, travel logistics and staff permissions in one system, synchronised across web, iOS and Android.

Multi-tenant means each clinic is an isolated tenant with its own patients, staff, roles and settings. A user account belongs to one clinic at a time; joining a second clinic requires leaving the first. Every clinic-scoped request is resolved against that clinic’s membership and role before any data is returned.

What does ClinicArchitect actually do?

It covers six areas of clinic operations: patient records, scheduling, clinical visits and assessments, patient travel logistics, staff roles and permissions, and an audit trail.

  • Patient records. Identity, contact and passport fields are stored encrypted. Name search runs against a separate normalised, accent-stripped column, so searching never requires decrypting records.
  • Appointments. Scheduling with double-booking protection: a database-level lock keyed on doctor and start minute is held across the overlap check and the insert, so two simultaneous bookings for the same doctor and time cannot both succeed.
  • Clinical visits. Visit records with pre-operative and post-operative assessment forms, plus custom fields a clinic defines for its own specialty.
  • Travel logistics. Hotel and flight records attached to a patient — the part general-purpose practice software omits and medical tourism coordinators otherwise keep in spreadsheets. See how patient hotel and flight tracking works.
  • Roles and permissions. Each role carries a permission matrix over 14 areas, and individual staff members can hold an override on top of their role.
  • Audit trail and notifications. A clinic-wide audit log, plus push notifications to the roles a clinic nominates for patient creation, appointment creation, appointment changes and new visits.

The security and data handling page describes the protections behind these in more detail.

How is ClinicArchitect billed?

Two monthly plans, Premium and Pro, each starting with a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions are purchased inside the iOS or Android app and billed by Apple or Google, not by card on the website.

Because billing runs through the mobile stores, the price shown depends on your storefront’s currency, tax treatment and any regional promotion. Premium covers up to 10 staff members and 10 custom fields with a monthly database backup; Pro removes the staff and custom-field limits and adds weekly database and file backups. The plan comparison lists the current figures for your region.

What is ClinicArchitect not?

It is an operations and record-keeping system. It is not a medical device, it does not provide diagnosis or treatment advice, and it does not make clinical decisions.

Nothing in the product interprets clinical data or recommends a course of treatment. Financial fields are informational records for the clinic’s own bookkeeping and are not an accounting or invoicing system of record. The medical disclaimer states this in full, and the terms of service govern use.
